Our bass player Stevey recently came out to us as a transgender woman. She now goes by Emma and identifies as she/her. We felt honoured that Emma would trust us enough to include us to be amongst the first she would tell. Tigers are a family and are fully supportive of Emma in her journey, she has been and will always be a huge part of the band.
Tigers have always been closely affiliated with the queer community in Belfast, with Hayley and her girlfriend performing regularly at various nights and events across the country. With Emmas news we felt now more than ever we wanted to help support the LBGTQ resources and spaces available in Belfast. With that in mind we are donating all the proceeds from the download of No Ghosts Walk to The 343. The track has been newly remastered giving the track new depth, more space sonically speaking allowing parts and sounds more clarity and impact.
The 343 are a vibrant Artist-Focused and feminist led, Queer Art Space in East Belfast. They are currently raising funds for mutual aid to help with financial assistance with groceries, hormones, rent, etc. All proceeds from downloads will be donated directly to The 343's mutual aid fund. Now more than ever it is vital we stand together, support each other and help those in need.
